Adam Kaplan is an associate with Tradition Law LLP Estates & Trusts in Winnipeg. Adam primarily practices in the areas of Estate Planning and Administration and has experience assisting clients with Tax Matters and Corporate Structuring.

Prior to being called to the Manitoba Bar in 2024, Adam received his Bachelor of Laws with Honours degree from Bond University in Gold Coast, Australia in 2021, and his Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee of Accreditation in 2023. Before attending law school, Adam acted in senior management roles in the recycling industry.

While in law school Adam served on the executive committees of several student organizations and clubs, including as president of the Bond Jewish Students Association and Vice-President of the Bond D&D Club, and volunteered with several community and faculty legal clinics, which earned him the Executive Dean’s Award for “Best Performing Student Volunteer” in the Legal Tech Clinic, where he assisted a community not-for-profit with drafting social media use policies.

Back in Winnipeg, Adam helped train and mentor the next generation of Manitoba’s legal professionals as a member of the sessional instructor team at the University of Manitoba’s Robson Hall Faculty of Law, facilitating the Income Tax Law and Policy and Corporate Taxation courses (Winter 2025 Semester).

When not at the office, Adam also serves on the board of directors of several community cultural organizations in Winnipeg and enjoys spending as much time outdoors as possible with family and friends, whether golfing, camping, or sitting around a bonfire.
