Bio
Danielle Dubois is an associate lawyer with Tradition Law LLP Estates and Trusts. Danielle practices primarily in the area of estate litigation.
Danielle has practiced civil litigation as both a Crown attorney and in private practice. She has appeared at all levels of court in Manitoba, as well as in the Federal Court and the Tax Court of Canada, and before administrative tribunals.
In 2024, Danielle was seconded to work as legal research counsel at the Manitoba Court of Appeal. She worked closely with judges to analyze and research a broad variety of legal issues at Manitoba’s highest court.
Danielle was called to the Manitoba Bar in 2018. She graduated with the Gold Medal for Highest Standing in Law from the University of Manitoba in 2017. Danielle was on the dean’s list throughout law school, and received course prizes in torts, property law, copyright law, and bioethics and the law.
As a law student, Danielle chaired the Community Outreach Committee, and volunteered at Legal Aid Manitoba’s University Law Centre, and the Women’s Legal Education and Action Fund.
Prior to law school, Danielle completed an M.A. in History at the University of Manitoba, and a B.A. (Hons.) from the University of Winnipeg, where she was selected as Valedictorian for the Faculty of Arts.
Danielle is currently an executive member of the Elder Law Section and Legal Research Section of the Manitoba Bar Association. She volunteers as a coach of the Wilson Moot at the Faculty of Law at the University of Manitoba. She has also presented on legal research at the Law Society of Manitoba.
