Bethany Hutlet is an associate lawyer with Tradition Law LLP Estates & Trusts, practicing primarily in the areas of estate planning and administration.

Bethany has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Manitoba, with a double major in History and Psychology. After earning her B.A., Bethany attended Robson Hall (the Faculty of Law at the University of Manitoba) where she received her Juris Doctor in 2019. Bethany was honoured to be the inaugural recipient of the Class of 2019 Humanitarian Award, which was presented to her by her classmates in recognition of her contributions to Robson Hall student groups and local charitable efforts.

After receiving her law degree, Bethany went on to article in Kenora, Ontario, at a firm serving First Nations bands in northwestern Ontario. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2021 and then came home to obtain her Manitoba call later that same year.

Since returning to Manitoba, Bethany has focused her legal practice on solicitor’s work (such as estate planning, estate administration, and corporate/commercial matters). She enjoys working closely with clients and soon found her niche in estate planning and administration.

Bethany was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Both of Bethany’s parents grew up in a small town called Cypress River (between Glenboro and Treherne on Highway #2), where Bethany spent many weekends as a child, and which she still enjoys visiting to this day.

Outside of work, Bethany enjoys playing video games with her friends, travelling as much as she can, and crafting (or, more frequently, collecting craft supplies).
