We are living through unusual times. Like the rest of the world, we are watching the situation regarding COVID-19 closely.

Tradition Law LLP is still open as it falls within the legislated exceptions for workplaces. Keeping in mind the provincial and federal directives, several of our lawyers and some of our staff are working from home. The number of people who are in the office (lawyers, staff, and clients) are limited to 10 and physical distancing is being observed. Client meetings are primarily by phone or video-conference but can be in person if absolutely necessary. Document signing, where required, is being managed in a way to limit contact in order to protect the well-being and safety of our clients, colleagues, and communities.

Do you think you need to meet in person? If so, do any of these situation apply to you?

• You aren’t feeling well in any way.
• You have travelled outside of Canada within the past 14 days.
• You have interacted with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or is a presumptive case.

If this applies to you, it will be better to meet by phone or video-conference or to reschedule your meeting.
